Timelapse of Solar Powered Illuminated Plate from Daylight to Dark
Whether you choose from one of the feature designs alongside your own house number or just go with your numbers by themselves, these Solar Powered Illuminated Plates bring a whole new dimension to your street frontage.
By day they add a beautiful feature to the front of your home, and by night they add a complete new dimension to your property, alongside the safety aspect of being able to identify your home from a long way down the street in the dark.
The Aluminium Plates are available in either a Brushed Aluminium or a Charcoal finish. They are 300mm wide by 200mm high, and with their side returns are 20mm deep.
The numbers which are available in 15 different fonts are cut through the Aluminium Plate the same as the feature piece (if selected), we then fit a textured light diffuser behind the plate to distribute the light more evenly.
Leds are fitted to the top inside of the Plates, and wired to a plug. Mounting brackets are then fitted to the rear.
Solar Panel: The solar panel is 300mm wide by 60mm high, and extends 120mm out from the wall. It is designed to provide full power to the Leds for 5 hours and then it reduces power to 50% (which still provides plenty of light) for the early hours of the morning, thus ensuring it lights up the plate consistently during the night. It turns on at dusk and off at dawn automatically. The Solar Panel will need a day at first too charge the batteries, before the light works for the first time.
We provide all mounting screws and a drill hole template to ensure everything gets installed smoothly. Once both the Solar Panel & Number Plate are installed you simply connect the wire between them via an inline screw connection. The Solar Panel will need a day at first to charge the batteries, before the light works for the first time.
We only make House Numbers &Letterboxes so all of our products and materials are selected based on their ability to survive in harsh sea side locations and to stand up to prolonged UV sunlight exposure. Numbers are our business and we have rejected a large amount of materials that simply didn’t maintain there looks after a few years exposed to the extremes of weather.
